Happy Tuesday everyone!  I hope you all had a good weekend. 🙂 Can you believe we’re that much closer to a new month?  Crazy.

I finally have the review for the Too Faced Brow envy Brow Shaping and Defining Kit so let’s get started.

The kit comes housed in a black compact, complete with a mirror, setting wax, a cream highlight shade, brow powder duos, tweezers, a spooley, brush and angled brush.

Stencils

Also included in this kit are three eyebrow stencils and a Glamour Guide detailing how to use the kit.

Top to Bottom: Setting Wax, Highlight, Brunette and Blond

Swatches of the shades.  You can’t really see the setting wax too well because it’s clear but it’s sitting on top of the pale pink highlight shade.

Pros

A complete set

Good for brow maintenance/touch ups

Duo powder shades allows you to customize a shade

Small tweezers are great for grabbing tiny hairs

Good for traveling

Cons 

Cream products make the kit messier

Stencils may not work for everyone’s eyebrow shape

Not versatile enough for every brow or hair color

Overall: I really do like this kit and it has pretty much all of the necessary tools to keep your eyebrows shaped and defined.  Personally, I would have preferred a powder highlight instead of a cream one just because I feel I can control it better.  Also, the stencils won’t be used because a) they don’t fit my eyebrow shape and b) my eyebrows are pretty wild so I have to get them threaded about every month. The eyebrow brush is a little stiffer than I would like but it’s not a deal breaker.  I would recommend this kit to anyone who has dark eyebrows but if you’re looking for lighter shades, Anastasia has a really great selection of powder duos as well.

  4. I really love pixie by petra brow palette, even though I wanted to try this brow kit I’m pretty happy with what I’m already using.

    • Haven’t seen that one yet but sounds good. I think this one is good if you’re just starting out and don’t have anything yet. Otherwise, stick to what works. ?

  5. Looking lovely Stephie! I admit, I’m like Joanna when it comes to my brows, pretty lazy haha. As long as they’re tamed I don’t really mind 🙂

    • Thank you Chanelle. Truth be told, I’m a tad lazy with my brows to but if I don’t have them threaded about every month or so, they are super wild, lol.

  6. Nice packaging! My favorite brow products are 1. The elf eyebrow kit (it’s $3! You can’t go wrong!) I totally hated it at first, but then I started just using the wax to fill and shape my brows and I loved it. The other product I like is the brow gel from Younique (I sell Younique and signed up cause its all naturally based cruelty free products) the brow gel has fibers in it which will fill in the sparse areas if you have any. It’s awesome!

    • Funny because I’m not a huge fan of this highlighter, lol. I like the kit but yes maybe if they had different kits with more color options to make it more versatile. ?

  9. Your brows are en pointe, so this is clearly working well for you! I should probably concentrate on brow products a little more, I quite liked the idea of eyebrow stencils but only if they fit!
