Skin Tip: Saving Hands!

March 6, 2015

If you are experiencing dry hands this season, follow these guidelines:

1) Wash with warm water, not hot as this further strips your dry skin.

2) If you’re hands are not cracked, use a mixture of sugar and coconut oil to exfoliate your hands at night.

3) Follow up with your favorite body butter or hand cream and if needed, use gloves to seal in moisture.

Have a great weekend!Β

You’re welcome Karen! Actually you can also use olive oil or grapeseed oil too. I mention coconut because most people have that but in reality, any oil works. πŸ™‚

Start small and see which one you like. Coconut smells the best though πŸ™‚

I do like the idea of using sugar and coconut oil as exfoliant. Sounds like it would get rid of dead skin but also the oil would help some moisture to the skin. Great post! πŸ™‚
