Skin Tip: Pumpkin Seeds for Acne!

October 9, 2015

With pumpkin-themed items surrounding us everywhere, here’s some food for thought.  Pumpkin seeds contain zinc which may help relieve acne as zinc helps control the sebaceous (oil) glands and aids in healing the skin.  Something to think about next time you choose a snack, no?

Have a great weekend everyone and I’ll see you back next week,

Stephanie

From the title I thought it was going to be about crushing the seeds and making a scrub or something. Ooh EATING pumpkin seeds! ?

As a scrub, it might be a bit harsh, lol. Maybe for the body but not the face. 🙂

Looove pumpkin seeds! I eat them raw I eat them baked in the oven but had no idea they’d help with acne! Not that I suffer from that! Great tip as always! ??? Annie | Annie’s Beauty

I’ve tried them some time ago but forgot about them until recently. Never had them baked so I need to try that. Thanks! ?

I tend to put disclaimers on things health related since I am not a nutritionist or dietician. So far I have not received any negative feedback or anything but sometimes certain foods may interact with medications so I err on the cautious side. ?
