Happy St. Patrick’s Day readers!

As promised, here are the products and information regarding my giveaway. Β I was introduced not only to this organic brand in esthetics school but also to the biochemist who formulates these wonderful products- and incredibly knowledgeable and sweet man! While this line isn’t well known, these three products are my absolute favorites that I would love to share with you.

Herbal Milky Cleanser is a cream based cleanser that doubles as a makeup remover.

Transforming Toner is a soothing and refreshing mist that feels great after cleansing and perfect for the upcoming warmer weather.

Peptide Vitamin C SerumΒ  is an amazing anti-aging serum that contains 15% vitamin C in the gentle form of magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, white tea extract and peptides.

So, if these look like products you’d be interested in trying out, simply follow the instructions below. πŸ™‚

1) Make sure you are following my blog (subscribe and/or β€˜Like’ me on Facebook)

2) Reblog or share any one of my posts if you can.

3) Comment on this post and tell me what you skin care or beauty topic/issue you would like to see discussed on my blog.

4) Open to U.S. residents only. (Hoping to add international in the future!)

***The winner will be announced on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.***

Good luck and thank you so much for reading!Β

What a great Giveaway!!! I will reblog later today since I feel I blogged too much already for today lololol. Can I reblog the giveaway post? Also my only skin care concern ever is all this redness on my face πŸ™ I think you already discussed it though but since my skin is so dry and red everywhere it is always on my mind. Have a great day xoxoox <3 Janet

      March 17, 2015 at 10:43 pm

Yes, you can reblog later. You have until 3/30. πŸ™‚ The way things are going right now though, you are my only entry, lol so you may just win it. I’m guessing not many people are into skincare? And about the redness, I can try to do a post about it. Thanks for participating! πŸ™‚

        March 18, 2015 at 5:15 am

Oh no! I am sure it will pick up steam. Skincare is very important and I think it’s just people don’t know about it. When I did my giveaway in November only 9 people entered lol I was still excited

        • stephieestie says

          March 18, 2015 at 10:17 pm

I didn’t even know about yours but maybe I wasn’t following you then. I think it was through Cos that I found your blog. πŸ™‚ Well it seems more people are now getting into it so we shall see. πŸ™‚

Lololol yeah I did mine in November and Josie did hers in December, I was just happy to host one πŸ™‚ And yay to more people signing up! Good luck to everyone πŸ™‚

Yes!!! Redness is my main problem!! I just went to Clinque to have them help me because I’m so desperate to fix this problem. I got a whole line of products that are for redness, so I’m hoping it will work.

      • stephieestie says

        March 27, 2015 at 8:08 pm

It may be genetic. I remember my mom purchased this green product from Clinique and it seemed to calm the redness down. I would steer clear from the toners though since most have alcohol in them and that can make your redness worse. Let me know how the products work out. πŸ™‚

      March 17, 2015 at 10:48 pm

Thanks Katie! So far only Janet has entered so we’ll see how it goes. I’m thinking many people aren’t into skincare? I tried to make it easy for people but I don’t know. You have til 3/30 to change your mind. πŸ™‚

        March 18, 2015 at 9:00 am

Well if not many people enter for some reason then I will enter for sure! You just let me know πŸ™‚ Skin care is very important. These look like really nice products too. Everyone just always seems to be into makeup stuff. It’s like well you can’t really achieve a good makeup look without taking care of your skin first! πŸ™‚

What’s some good products for rosacea? I’m pretty sure I have it, i have really red cheeks. πŸ™‚

    • stephieestie says

      March 17, 2015 at 11:45 pm

I’m so glad you liked them! They are some of my faves. πŸ™‚ Actually, my grandmother uses this cleanser I am giving away and she has rosacea and she loves it. I don’t think this one will take away the redness but it might soothe and not aggravate it. There’s another product but I can’t think of the name at the moment. I’ll email it to you though. πŸ™‚

Aww thank you Cos! Only Janet entered yesterday and I’m like, okay I guess skincare isn’t as popular? Lol. I love skincare but then again I am biased but it’s important! πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for sharing it! I got a few more people to enter so that’s good. Your wish will be respected, though I think you would love the toner. πŸ™‚ Did you receive the package I sent?

          • theworldofcos says

            March 18, 2015 at 10:51 pm

Nope not yet, but my ipsy did not come either I think the mailman forgot us. I’ll let you know when it gets here. Yeah, the toner almost made me want to enter. However, I have a buncha cleanser & vitamin C serum I gotta use up so it’s better it goes to someone who needs it. πŸ™‚

          • stephieestie says

            March 18, 2015 at 10:56 pm

It’s okay, I understand. This cleanser might not be the best for oily skin and the vitamin C might be a bit too hydrating. Both are okay on me but I have friends who have oily skin and the cleanser is a bit too heavy and the serum is a hit or miss. The toner is a hit though. Maybe you’ll receive it tomorrow then. Fingers crossed. πŸ™‚

Oh very nice, Steph! Such a great giveaway! The Herbal Milky cleanser sounds divine, I’m always on the search for a better makeup remover/facial cleanser. πŸ™‚ I will totally reblog! I think my biggest skin issue would be sun spots/freckles. As you know I’ve used hydroquinone to get rid of a huge spot on my cheek but I would like to find something that works without the harsh chemicals to lighten smaller spots so they’re not as noticeable. I wonder if there’s a daily cream I could use without the harshness of chemicals. πŸ™‚

    • stephieestie says

      March 19, 2015 at 10:26 pm

Thanks Jen! I think you would love all of these. The cleanser is nice but doesn’t feel heavy. I have combination skin and I don’t break out from it. Okay, I will work on an answer for the sun spots minus the hydroquinone. I think you would also benefit from the Vitamin C but it would take a while for you to see results. πŸ™‚ Thanks again!

      • Jen says

        March 20, 2015 at 7:25 pm

    I follow you on WordPress.

I would love to try all of these, especially the Vitamin C Serum! πŸ™‚ My biggest skin concern are some sun spots that I have on my face that really bother me. I have spent so much $$ on many different things to try to fade them, but have yet to find something that has really helped.

Hi Lisa, thanks for commenting! I wrote a post a few weeks back on hyperpigmentation/sun spots and possible treatments. Sometimes depending on how deep the sun spots are, you could benefit from chemical peels along with good skincare products.

      https://stephieestie.wordpress.com/2015/02/26/reader-question-treatments-for-hyperpigmentation/

Which products have you tried? Good luck with the giveaway! πŸ™‚

    March 26, 2015 at 11:38 pm

I just turned 32 and I am breaking out so bad on my jawline. As a teen and in my 20’s I did have that many problems pretty much decent skin. Then about a year ago, I started breaking out so bad on my jawline and it was so bad. I cried!! I couldn’t clear it up and makeup wasn’t covering it. I went and got facials every two weeks and it really made my skin worse, maybe the harsh products from Murad..I’m not sure. Anyway, I think maybe something about hormonal acne in your 30’s or the jawline acne problem that a lot of women get from a variety of reasons. My skin is calming down but it’s still really bad and I hope that this stuff works for me because I don’t know what to do next.

    • stephieestie says

      March 27, 2015 at 8:18 pm

Yes, sometimes hormones have a lot do to with acne breakouts as you get older. I’ve heard good things about Murad but of course it’s not going to work for everyone. Stress is also a pretty big factor. Using retinol products can help both aging and acne concerns and niaciminide. Have you tried Dermalogica? They have an acne kit that may work out for you.

      • The Peachy Queen says

        March 28, 2015 at 2:34 am

I never tried Dermalogica, I will check it out! Great info!!! You should do a Q&A post since you have so much knowledge, I know you have helped me tremendously already.
        xx

        • stephieestie says

          March 29, 2015 at 9:07 pm

It might work. They have a kit that can serve as a trial basis to see what works and what doesn’t. A few people I know really like that one and I’ve worked with this line and I like a couple of their products including the Sebum Clearing Mask. I know the weather is changing too so keep an eye out for that factor. Does your skin get oilier? Are you stressing out more? Are you working in a different environment? I’ll keep the Q & A in mind; great idea! I do sometimes post questions I get asked (Reader Questions) but maybe I should announce it more. It’s always a process trying to figure out what the problem is but I love it. Kind of like a detective. πŸ™‚

I was also curious about Skin Detox teas and what you think of them.

    • stephieestie says

      March 27, 2015 at 8:26 pm

Depending on the tea. Green or white tea is excellent because of the polyphenols and antioxidants that help protect the skin from the sun’s UV rays. Sometimes though, tea can dehydrate (I think more commonly with black) so it’s good to also drink plain water. As for the detox part, our skin already detoxifies itself. What we consume goes to our internal organs first and whatever is leftover goes to the rest of our external body. I don’t see harm in it but also, I wouldn’t expect dramatic results. Does this make sense? Sometimes I tend to ramble on, lol.

      • The Peachy Queen says

        March 28, 2015 at 2:30 am

Thanks for all this info!! I really appreciate all your knowledge. I really want to fix my skin so I can wear my makeup better. I feel like I’m struggling to just cover up instead of enhancing. I was drinking the Yogi Skin Detox Tea. I heard people drink A LOT of cups per day to clear skin but it hasn’t done anything for me. Thank you!!! Btw I ramble!! ?
        xx

        • stephieestie says

          March 29, 2015 at 9:02 pm

You’re very welcome! Love to help! Let me know if you have any more questions or need some tips. πŸ™‚ You can always email me too. I think people will vary with results with the Yogi Tea but perhaps there’s more to the story than just drinking tea. For example, maybe they used to drink a lot of soda and switched to tea or increased their water intake. There can be so many other factors than the tea itself. πŸ™‚
